Syrian rebels strengthen hold on Aleppo
At least one third of the city of Aleppo is under control of the Free
Syrian Army. But the main battle for Syria's commercial city may be
just about to begin, according to the UN. Al Jazeera's Anita McNaught
reports from Aleppo where the forces of Bashar al-Assad appear to have
been routed in parts of the city.

Well, I don't understand one thing ... FSA's grip on Aleppo - but seemingly, by the report, they only hold some eastern and north eastern neighborhoods and suburbs ... far of 60% they were claiming few days ago.
There is no word about Salahedeen and Hamdaniyeh ... Probably they've lost those to SAA ...

@wrano Man, Aleppo is in no way in control of the Terrorists. They might control some street corners. Thats it.
But one must remember, they are terrorists, they show up anywhere and start fighting, thus they are able to control larger areas, but only for a short time (after army arrives, Terrorists = dead or left). This is the advantage of seeing a Terrorists attacking a sovereign country.

Another piece of pure Al Jazeera spin/propaganda.
Almost every sentence is dripping with falsity, innuendo, propaganda phrases.
Actually this is one of the worst AJ propaganda pieces I've ever seen.

1/3 under the control? Hahaha... fuck you Aljazeera. The truth is, they "control" 1/3 of a little district in Aleppo, consists of 10 street corner.
Someone must think: Why she can walk freely there? A Woman? Is this even in Syria or not in some Hollywood studio?

If the people interviewing are still having their faces blurred that means that they are still afraid to speak their mind openly, and that Assad's regime of terror is still strong even in the areas controlled by the FSA.
Sometime we forget that having freedom of speech without fear of retribution is not a given for everyone in this planet.

Oh and you dont think, that they might also be afraid of some terrorists walking on the street at night, ambushing the army, and decapitating neighbours ;)

@exPFC Wintergreen You mean, they fear the FSA of telling something out of their minds?
I think this is to distract the real picture and so that no one is accountable for what is said (e.g. not real people). Al Jazeera normally gives a shit of privacy and just sends unblurred pictures.
