I do wonder how some people have driving licences.
I had an incident with someone not an hour ago. I rounded a bend on a fast (50 mph limit) road to be confronted with a car stopped just past the apex, in a perfect blind spot to get nailed. It s a blind bend to a certain extent, wall, bushes and with a drop in it (hehe think laguna seca) and a local road to me, so Im usually pretty careful round there, especially in the day in case someone has broken down or whatever,..

She was STOPPED on a road where it is ILLEGAL to stop except for breakdown on a bend I am ALWAYS wary of.

actually the insurances will make it a 50,50,50 scenario.
1.) the truck was partially on the road and no warning signs had been put by the driver
2.) The lady could have avoided the accident with proper distance and attention
3.) no proper distance by the next following driver.
Furthermore insurances like the 50/50 rule most because they have to pay less and at the same time can increase the insurance value for all three members.

Pretty much an unforseeable chain of events. Still useful to have the dashcam to actually record it, rather than for the cops to have to rely on the testimony of excited/shocked/injured motorists.
Although the specialists are pretty good at figuring out what happened by the skid marks and damage these days, but still..
