Word on the street is when you land in Mexico as a tourist (White skinned) you're not to exit the hotel and take a taxi. Usually the taxi is a one way in, no way out, you're taken to a house which you're then ransomed to family, or stripped of all belongings, goods, money, etc. sorta deal and left out somewhere in the barrios.
You're to wait in the lobby and the hotel will call a personal taxi, with the driver and his license# to verify. Question is, what if the hotel staff is co More..
