There is no denying the fact that a correlation exists between the pace of a sport and the amount of fights that take place in the stands during it. While fights in the crowd during fast-paced sports like hockey and basketball appear to be rare, we are constantly bombarded with numerous clips of fights from slower-paced sports, such as baseball and soccer.

It comes from a friendly soccer match between Mexico and Venezuela at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego last week, but make no mistake about it, there is nothing “friendly” about throwing a guy down three rows of seats.
