The US spends only about 8-12% of its tax money on national defense, and that includes EVERYTHING not just the wars, or things like MRAPs. Over 60% goes to social security and health care, and that keeps growing because health care costs are skyrocketing. I would much rather pay for an MRAP than Shaquifas 5th welfare child without a "daddy."

Looks like the EFP caught the engine block, which is why it lit on fire and stopped. No, really. An EFP is a very small type of direct attack. It's not broad like shrapnel, which is this cause wouldn't even hurt the MRAP. If they have the Frag Kit 6, then most likely everyone survived anyways and the vehicle is toast.

I think it's a Navistar Maxxpro with Fragkit 6 update, if you look carefully it hit the engine block, no penetration what so ever. There was only one fatality with a Maxxpro, the gunner got killed when the vehicle topped over, it's hull has never been penetrated... It's a MRAP 2 able to withstand EFP attacks...
