Damn, this just made me realize that I have a subject for a good LL video... In Panama during carnival "Devils" use whips to chase people out of the street. Small boys try to challenge them by running out into the street with sticks in their hands which they use to either try to block the whip, or to push off with it to lift their bodies above the whip. Most of the kids proudly walk around showing off the deep gashes that they receive when the Devil 'gets' them.
