Somewhere in Northern London a woman somehow flushes a puppy down the loo (that's toilet in American). She calls the fire brigade(that's fire department in American) and for three hours they search the sewage system for the pup with no luck. Then a local plumbing contractor offers the use of a camera that can be snaked through the pipes. The plumber's camera finds the puppy and he uses the camera to push the dog further down the sewage pipe to the next manhole where a member of the fire brigade (a "firebrigader") plucks the smelly little guy out of the filthy rotten stinking smelling sewage water of Northern London.
