About 3 weeks ago a neighbour of ours found a injured cockatiel in their garden. This was on a sunday evening when it had been raining hard. Although they do not know what happenned to it. One guess is that it may have escaped from a aviery and been attacked by a cat or something and eventually its injuries were serious enough for it to collapse while flying. The cockatiel was taken in. However after bringing it in and warming it up the bird started to flap around. We think it may have been on its way out when it was picked up. Whatever this poor soul had been through . He was eventually released from that pain when he died.
