(AGI) Rome - A soldier of the Italian contingent in Kosovo died
today when a shot fired from his own weapon. It is not yet
clear the dynamics of the incident, investigations by the
Italian military authorities and the KFOR, the contingent they
are part of, are underway. The incident occured in late morning
today inside the camp where the contingent has its base in a
Kosovan town. Several of his fellow soldiers found the lifeless
