    • Bush has virtually nationalized the financial sector and is giving out corporate bailouts like there is no tomorrow. You right-wingers love socialism, as long as taxpayer money is going to the super wealthy.

Cuba is better off today then having some US puppet regime in power like Batista and having the economy run by the Mafia.

    • You're comments simply prove how ignorant you are.
Communism DOES NOT mean it is devoid of TRADE, idiot.

If Cuba would've been left alone, then it would've been rightly blamed ALONE for it's ills...but since the U.S. has been punishing the CUBAN PEOPLE through an embargo all these years...then the U.S. is to BLAME.

    • Pushing the Cuban people?! The embargo excuse Cuba has been using for decades is lame as hell. Why doesnt Cuba just trade with other world countries? What can't they get from other countries that they would get from the US?

Just like all other communist countries, the Cuban government blames its failures in others. The Revolution has been a failure, and I most Cubans cant wait for the Castro tyranny to be over.

    • Cuba use to be A-ok with trade, until the Soviet Union fell. Then the embargo really started to bite Cuba in the ass
