The Rich Get Richer Explained

An example on how government regulations are tools which attack the poor and benefit the rich.
It is an excellent explanation of the growing disparity between the poor and the rich in America,
which is NOT created by capitalism

  • notice how this happens under Democrat presidents.
Democrats need poor people, the more the better. Independent self-reliant people serve no purpose and are in fact a threat to Democrats. The Solution, shrink the middle class, make it harder to achieve and live independently. More poor, ignorant, dependent people = more Democrat voters

    • @_Byron_ This is precisely the method that the Australian Labor Party (strongly left-wing) uses on Australian people - they are currently running this country.

    • @_Byron_ are you paid to turn rich/poor conversations into a left/right fight? democrats and republicans are both at the table whenever the working poor are getting screwed by financial blackmail, extortion and greed perpetrated by the rich (banks and corporations).

Spot on, some of the wealthiest people in the world a democrats.
      Here are a few:
      Warren Buffet
      Bill Gates
      Larry Ellison
      Michael Bloomberg
      George Soros

And the richer they are the higher percentage of them are Democrats.

The Christy Walton families are democrats, and you can tell how much they care for the poor by the huge sums of money their employees make. Oh, wait they pay them minimum wage. When you get paid minimum wage; what it means is "we would pay you less if we could&q More..

  • You ain't seen anything yet - wait until the dollar collapses and we have hyper inflation, it will hurt the poor much more because the rich are already buying Gold.

The rich have already bought gold, they will be selling it to the poor (everyone else) at super inflated prices caused by demand.

    • @JihadKiller1s1k You have to remember, bush started this off during his time in office.Give credit where credit is due.

      September 24, 2008

U.S. President George W. Bush, saying "our entire economy is in danger," urged Congress to approve his administration's $700 billion bailout proposal.

"We're in the midst of a serious financial crisis, and the federal government is responding with decisive actions," Bush said in a televised address Wednesday night from the Whit More..

Yup. I remember clearly because I was the same way. Fact is, every conservative out there was against the bailout. Let them go BK and someone will pick up the pieces to profit.

All of you are tools for these people.
You do absolutely nothing productive for the nation and its entire population, for the only thing that's there are illusions and empty promises like always, simply meant to divide groups of people and have them at each others neck, that otherwise our power as one people at least 300 million strong is frightening to the technocrats and oligarchs when our More..

Sorry but no that is not true. The reason people are not creating lynch mobs for the politicians is because most people have it good.
American Idol is on the TV and Obama is giving out free food and phones. When the goodies stop comming, expect a revolution. It´s the only way for real change.
Humans are very bad at reacting to small changes and the people in power use this to it´s fullest extent.

  • Suppose that every day, ten men go out for a beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100.
If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:

The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.

    The fifth would pay $1.00

    The sixth would pay $3.00

    The seventh would pay $7.00

    The eighth would pay $12.00

    The ninth would pay $18.00

The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.00

So that's what they decided to do. The men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite More..

    • @Triode It has been around for years and likely was written by someone very wealthy who does not want to be held resoponsible for all the cost he has run up.

If AT&T had had to pay for all the Copper in the telegraph system they would never have even made it off the drawing board.

Perfectly happy to exempt Mom and Pop shops with less then 50 full time employees but we need to up the corporate rate until the CEO's can feel the pain too.

    • @DemocratWithDerringer Less than 50 FT employees is the definition of small business. Low or no tax rates would be desirable for them in the start-up phase. Corporations of med. to large size probably could pay more tax and far fewer loopholes (tax-havens, moving money to subsidiarys etc.) to leap through. Flat tax could be good for employees and NO deductions. CEO's will lose a lot more in tax than they do now.

    • @DemocratWithDerringer tax corporations all you want. They in turn will charge you more for what you want. Taxing corporations is still a tax on the working poor.

    Nope that's the middle class.
In fact the middle class tax Slave's are exactly who 0bama is attacking. 0ccutard's pay no taxes and do no work, they just take up space and use up resources.

  • I used to date this girl back in high school, she and her family lived on this part of town that was until recently very rural. What was amazing about the house they lived in, was that her father built that house by himself. By today's standards, he would not be able to build that house because of ridiculous federal regulations.

It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing

  • Taking advice on serious national economic issues from a cartoon maker does not make much sense to me. I'm not attempting to shoot the messenger, but the source needs to be examined before anything.

There is one thing for sure and that is Mr. Buffet's wealth is obscene. It's good to accumulate assets and money, but not to the point where it is freakish.

    • @fern420 lol, they aren't that bad, but cartoons are a recognized method of distributing information to people but, unfortunately communists are the most opportune users of such means of communication. If someone produced a national economics commentary program (that was conservative) that'd be more useful.
