This happened in Turkey, Eskisehir a some months ago...


Two guys come and asks the shopkeeper if he can replace an unopened vodka bottle which they bought from some other shop with some beer. The shopkeeper kindly tells them that's not impossible since they don't have any bills etc... The guys insist on their request without being rude. At 02:22 "Mr. Ahmet" (who has a shop next to this one) enters his friends shop and saw his friend might be in trouble and tells the guys to fuck off aloud. They begin to insult each other, a guy even draws a knife and hits Mr. Ahmet on his leg. To get them out of the shop Mr. Ahmet starts throwing bottles (tells his friend that he will pay what he breaks) on them and as we see he succeeds.

According to press he threw bottles worthing like $2700 but insurance will cover it.

As of today, he is a parliamentarian candidate for general elections in Turkey on 12. July, for symbolic purposes. The money needed for his application (~$5000) is gathered by an internet community named incisözlük for his bravery and self sacrifice.
