      Any politician in this country will gladly give money to Israel because sadly they tend to have very influential voting blocks which make them far more powerful than their population suggests. To which most Americans cannot stand together a vote uniformly based on an ethnic or religious Identity

      You're trying to distort reality. There were plenty of Jews living amongst Arabs in Palestine, and they DID flourish while all of Europe was persecuting them.

      Where you're confused is the idea of Zionism. When the Zionist European Jews came aboard Palestine, they did just come and TAKE OVER. With a gun in one hand and their Torah in the other, they forced Arabs out of the country by massacring the villages, or trying to pay $$$ for them to leave.
