Saint Paul, Minnesota.
The cops in St. Paul don't seem to have a problem with taxpayers flipping the bill for brutal arrests and activity. While this case has yet to be resolved, officer Adam Bailey's beatdown of Deshun Carter cost taxpayers 86 thousand dollars.
Cosetta Morris was awarded 270 thousand dollars after an officer threw her through a window resulting in the need of over 300 stitches. The officer unsuccessfully claimed she "tripped".
Robert Kearney was also awarded 270 thousand dollars after police threw him down a flight of stairs then denied him medical assistance for resulting injuries.
Police cost the taxpayers 400,000 thousand dollars after the fatal shooting of Charles Craighead who was protecting his fiancé against a carjacker.
