Totally Groovy 60’s Japanese Clothing Commercial

This is a commercial for a Japanese clothing line, Ye-Ye, that was made forty years ago. Check out the totally groovy music, camera work and overall feel of the commercial - it’s an interesting mix of the prevailing 60’s spirit and that quintessential bit of Japanese odd. There is a clip towards the very end that encapsulates this psychedelic spirit, with Monty-Pythonesque frames of sinking battleships and men with glittering stars where their heads are supposed to be. Ye-Ye!
