2 Suspects Arrested In Alligator Farm Break-In

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Police in St. Augustine have credited information from numerous tipsters with the arrests of two men in connection with a alligator farm break-in.

Three men were caught on tape breaking into the Alligator Farm Zoological Park, where the director said several endangered species might have been seriously hurt.

Once inside, police said the trio threw water bottles at the alligators and sprayed a fire extinguisher near a crocodile.

On Thursday, police announced they have arrested two of the three men seen on the tape.

Police said the surveillance video taken at the alligator farm led to numerous tips.

The 18- and 19-year-old suspects, Matthew Brock and Blake Massengill, now face charges of burglary, theft and cruelty to animals.

Investigators said they are still trying to find the third person seen on the surveillance tape.
