When clearing multiple rooms in a building and having engaged 1 or more enemy combatants, ammunition supply becomes a real concern if there are still rooms left to clear. This simple drill enables the operator to top off his weapon with a fresh magazine while his partner covers him.

Drill may also be used to call for cover in case of a weapon malfunction while engaging an enemy combatant.

Check drills during high risk entry are much more dangerous than a check drill in an outside environment because of the close quarters movements required to complete the drill.
