Using a Lunt 60 H alpha solar scope and the Mallincam Vss+ astronomy camera.
Use full screen and set 720 p, please. Enjoy ! : )
Sunspots are relatively cool regions of the solar surface depressed by magnetic fields.
The dark lanes surrounding the sunspots are called penumbral filaments.
Visible is boiling granulation outside the sunspots, inward motion of bright grains in the outer penumbral region towoard the sunspotS,and the churning of small magnetic elements between solar granules.
The strong magnetic field in the sunspots , promote cooling. Cool material contracts and sinks at speed of up to 3000 miles/hour. This drives an inward flow ,like a planet- sized whirlpool, that holds the sunspot together as long as the magnetic field is strong enough, so : THAT'S WHY THE SUNSPOTS LAST FOR WEEKS INSTEAD OF FLYING APART.
Sometimes, Solar tsunamy can be caugh in the act of rolling acrosss the face of the Sun. Some unusual shock wave can reach about 700 000 miles/hour .
When the shock waves are seen on the Sun, they tend to be short-lived, narrowly directed and seen in the super hot outer "corona' of the Sun's atmosphere.
A sunspot can measure about 25,000 kilometers across ( 15,534 miles) .

There's a lot of heat-haze in the video.
Adaptive optics are best to help, but so is post-processing.
Solar observing especially has a lot of atmospheric problems.

@DEADBEEF yes heat haze is a problem that's why i do my solar observations at night , you know when it is cool

Where are you "other" videos? You know, the ones where you are pointing more along the Earth's horizon.

Is there a reason why it looks so inactive ? I thought you'd at least see some surface movement or flares or something.
Is the footage where you do see those sped up or something ?
