    • Training, and lots of training. People breaks their knuckles when they hit wrongly. I know a guy who damages his own hand in a fight. He could never fully extend his fingers without pain for many years.

  • These events are often full of shit. Sort of like the guys who rip phone books. Pre-cut. Or just really brittle mock-concrete. You can halfway through the guy gets winded and not a whole lot of force is coming down on them. Just some of his body weight.
