A PREGNANT Paki Punjabi woman from Birmingham accused of smuggling over £3 million of heroin in Pakistan has appeared in court.
Khadija Shah, aged 25, has been held in the country with her children, aged four and five, since May when 63 kilos of the class A drug were found in suitcases.
Miss Shah, who had not been formally charged appeared in court today (Friday) accused of smuggling the drug, worth £3.2 million, into the country which she denied.
Six months pregnant, she was arrested as she tried to board a flight back to Birmingham with her children after a family holiday.
