August 8, 2011: We were crossing the bridge that connects Gulf Breeze with Pensacola Beach, when we noticed streaking in the water. We got a little closer to investigate, and it appeared to be Corexit. Corexit is a toxic dispersant used by oil companies to sink the oil to the waters bottom. If you can't see it, then BP doesn't have to clean it and pay for it by the poundage. That's why oil companies use dispersants, regardless of the toxicities.
