  • Now, thats a good soldier! Even when he is all fucked up, the first thing he ask for is his rifle, so he can get some cover for the rest of the wounded. One of the breavest clips i have seen on LL til this date. Semper fi marine!

    • @valerion Eh, its more about self preservation. He is injured, but he'll be killed if he doesn't have a weapon. He did it to protect himself, after an IED it usually is followed by an ambush

  • First he gets free of the turrent, immediately goes for his rifle, directs people to assist his wounded comrades, and instructs soldiers where to set up security. All within seconds of sustaining a head injury from an IED. What a brave Lad. I hope his actions that day are awarded. Heck let him be on all the morning news shows!

  • Apparently you guys never felt the power of en explosion 5 feet from your body. Your chest feels like it explodes, your lungs are instantly hurting, your organs feel pain, its hard to breathe, your ears are in pain, everything is in pain. Its extremely difficult to even focus after it goes off. And one thing they don't like to say much is that yes, even your balls hurt like a mother fucker. The vibration/shock of the bomb tears through your body, its a feeling like nothing before.

  • Excellent form and recovering as best as they could. I was surprised at how they were still concerned about tactics after being hit so hard. Hats off to that crew and the training they received.

    What kind of floored me was seeing the locals rushing in to assist. I've never seen that in any of the other clips. Glad that they were willing to lend a hand even though there was a good chance of being fired upon.

    • @obomonus But too, you don't know about those locals as well.. That's the thing with this, they could have very well been Taily and thus the reason they weren't fired upon.. They showed up when they heard the explosion to see what damage there may have been..

      Again, added stress.. Are they insurgents or not.. If I fire on them and they're not, I'm f'd.. If I don't fire on them and get myself or my buddy killed, I'm f'd..
