Truth is, DAD is being a father, not a brother or a friend, he's being DAD. Love to see more of this from black fathers. Kids need this kind of guidance. Parents have a hard time competing with MTV, peer pressure, and drugs. Good for this guy!

@carrick1636 It would be a last resort, but you don't know what the history is here do you? And you missed the entire point of the comment. He's at least involved in some way. He hasn't run off, he hasn't left the family, he's definitely showing some level of responsibility - even if it doesn't meet your level of standards, he's intervening and providing guidance.

Well done sir, no one likes to see their son going out looking like a complete dick to the 95% of people who are not the same age as him.
Same thing happens the world over though, struggle to be accepted as part of the collective, find your way in life and all that stuff.
He will probably sneak out like that but have at least you have sowed some seeds of doubt on his attire's credibility to the wider world.
