Combining My Passions For Bikes and Furniture Making

I saw this vid linked in a woodworking e-zine. I thought it was a cool video and might interest some people here:
"While working out problems for a big bench contract, I realized by
soaking shop made plys in water for a few minutes makes bent laminations
take and hold a more accurate shape with zero springback. Springback
is when a bent lamination or steam bent part doesn't quite hold the
exact shape of the form and generally isn't a problem if your form
accounts for it. By adding a step of soaking and pre bending in the
actual bending form the result is perfect. I use Pro-Glue, a veneer
resin glue that mixes with water. It is super rigid when dry and
doesn't show in the finish. I love it."
