Thats why herd boys in the Kalihari desert wear two shiny buttons on their waist, so the cobra aims for that and it saves them getting spat in the eyes, I have been spat at twice in the eyes now, it burns like fire, but relief comes from flushing eyes out with cold milk, that congeals the venom and removes it, not treated one will go blind, I frequently have to treat livestock and pets for this problem usually animals learn very quickly and back off from cobras because of being spat before. Mongoose eat them and kill them on sight, I shoot any around the house as they have a habit of moving in, we have had many that are just plain badass and provoke a show down.

you sound like you're serious.
Believe you me I am, I have lived most of my life with cobra's around, and have had some close shaves, to-date have had to deal with around 20 or 30 that have moved into the house over the years, cats are a good indicator to have around as they get very jittery, you recognise the signs and don a face shield and search them out, rat shot in a .22 calibre hand gun is a good weapon to eliminate them unless it's an aggressive sod then I go for the 4/10 shotgun using bird shot to minimise structual damage. I guess living amoungst them you get to learn their habbits.

I couldn't do a relax barbecue in your back yard
The cobra's don't come in search of you and will rather move away so having a bar-b-Q you quite safe, it's when you happen to meet one unexpectedly that he will go on the defense, spread his hood, and stand usually about 300-500mm and blow, if you don't back off, and continue to advance then they will spit and aim for the eyes, it's normal practice to wear a face shield when looking for something you need stored in a shed and have a strong stick handy, banging around usually gets them worked up a bit and that gives their position away if there is the odd stray one moved in. But be warned they can move extreamly fast & if you get bitten then it's a case of put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye.

The way how it's filmed tells me it's staged.
