Barney Miller was originally broadcast from 1975 to 1982 and is a classic show that no self respecting retro TV aficionado should have missed. A staple of broadcast history. Available in a DVD collection that even the most diehard fan couldn't complain about. Very nice job they did putting it together, worth the money.

The 1975 Cougar spot with Farrah Fawcett is hot. It appears she actually caressed that cougar on the car. Something they would probably never chance doing today with a popular star. I don't think there will ever be a replacement for the likes of Farrah, ever. (If you want to see what I mean I have footage I'll be transferring from Beta tapes to digital format that includes a movie called Saturn 3 later this week. Farrah is at her prime in the film. Just drop a comment about it if you want me to post a few clips on LL.)

The Safeguard soap commercial, as far as I know, was Tom Selleck's first commercial. That's what my info on the video says anyway, the guy I got it from is very reliable with info like that. There are two other future stars in that commercial too, Teri Garr and Penny Marshall. See if you can spot 'em.
