How strange it would be to actually see water flowing on another planet. Cool video.

@BOGGUN I see your point but isn't that like saying hey look we found a new land to colonize and replying forget about it the planet is doing what it's been doing for millions of years?

it's not only temp that precludes liquid water on the surface of mars but atmospheric pressure too. the boiling point of water depends on how much pressure there is. at 100th of the atmospheric pressure of earth, water boils at minus temps on mars. if this was liquid water, however saline it is, it would instantly boil away on exposure to the martian atmosphere, if it were coming out of the rock formations. it certainly wouldnt last to form flows like those in the vid. i'd be inclined to believe More..

It looks like sand flowing, to me. Like you would see on the outskirts of Vegas, flowing onto the highway.

Of course we sit a lander on Mars in an area that is nowhere hear here. Really good planning NASA

@Jegsman The lander was sent to a region that was flat and survivable for an error prone landing window. It is within driving distance of cliffs and stratified rocks and will be there in just over a year conducting experiments as it goes.
Another lander nearer the pole has already discovered frozen water that sublimated to gas.

Provençal scientists say "Water found on Mars, it's just missing Pastis, 1 part Pastis for 5 parts water are the correct proportions".

Friking awesome, but this is a little bit dated. There are likely to be extremophile bacteria living there.
