I spend most of a year in Saudi Arabia back in the days of DESERT STORM. I made it over across the big causeway to Bahrain a few times and was always amazed at the number of Saudi squires in dishdasha and headdress who packed the Bahraini bars sucking down draft Heineken.

It will be interesting when the world cup is in Qatar. Drunk football fans roaming around could cause problems. I know they will have designated drinking zones but would you want to risk getting drunk there? I think it could possibly be the worst world cup ever. Far too hot, a country that isn't mad on football, a pain in the ass to get to and a population with very conservative morals.

It is not just that their beliefs are not compatible with our traditions and values. The problem is that they, as immigrants, *demand* that we abandon our traditions and values to accomodate their own.
They do not immigrate - they colonize. They have no wish to integrate, only conquer; they believe their faith demands it.

If muslim women are happy to be oppressed and adhere to the tenets of their faith then let them wear it. It means nothing to anyone other than muslims. Ban them from entering anywhere that you need to remove face coverings like banks etc, not the burqas, the people. restrict their rights to move around freely and imprison offenders. I disagree. Concealing one's face and identity 24/7 is something that just is not done in Western society. If these folks want to live in our societies, they will have to simply find ways to comply with our cultural rules.
