Just for the record, I have nothing against Americans, on the contrariery, I like them but you saw that they didn't even wait for the cars to react or there was no place to do that so in some cases they were wrong.

@Floormassacre Usually the standard 6.5 Liter V8 (AM General) turbo diesels, pushing around 190hp and 380lb/ft torque. Not much..

@Jgizzy surely its more than that, how is it possible to only get 190hp out of a 6.5 v8 turbo!!! thats un-heard outside of the states. Ive got a 1.6 litre 8 valve N/A engine running just under 170hp with just a single high lift cam, with about 195lbs of torque but its gas. surely they can source a cheaper, better, lighter diesel engine from outside the states.

@420pm What engine are you talking about? It must be a diesel to put out 195ft/lbs torque being naturally aspirated, but then I wonder how you got the horsepower so high? Tell me more about this engine of yours. But yes the 6.5L turbodiesel really is that weak.

@Jgizzy its the TU5JP citroen/peugeot engine, newman ph5 cam, jenvey TBs, fully breathing 4,1 mani with no cat/silencers, decent map w/ omex ecu and various other mods. run 166.7bhp at the flywheel. not sure of the 'actual' hp at the wheels but in an 800kg/1 700lbs car you dont need much power. went round the ring, BTG in 9:41
