Rocket from Gaza land outside children room (Photos+Video of impact)
A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip exploded in a backyard in the southern city of Netivot shortly after 7:30 pm Friday.
Frightened residents reported hearing explosion sounds. The Color Red alert system was activated before the rocket hit the area.
Haim, who lives in the neighborhood hit by the rocket, told Ynet: "We were in the middle of the Shabbat meal, heard the rocket alert and ran into a fortified area. We heard a loud explosion. It felt like an earthquake. We went out and saw that the rocket had landed in house's backyard."
Dozens of rocekts were launched into Israel in recent week, after the IAF seriously injured 2 Jihadists in Gaza.

There are several batteris (4-5) which are being moved according to security needs,training ect.
The Iron dome is mainly for Grad rockets, not short range Qassams or mortars (Which is what was launched into Israel during the last week).
Very hard to believe you havn't watch all the live videos here of the Dome intercapte Grads up in the sky..
And of course from time to time there are failures and several rockets manage to land down.
