sinaloa, mexico--april/17/09--two known thieves were found dead in different locations in the sate of sinaloa, mexico, the first one was found in the city of culiacan, sinaloa, at a residential zone, he had been in jail in several ocations for robbery, people say that they had heard several gunshots around 11:00am, when the police arrived, they found the dead body of 50 year old man and 35 spent cartdriges of ak47 and 5.7x28, the authorities say that the men had been killed minutes later after he was kidnapped by a group of heavily armen men, most of the gunshots wounds were in his head. on the second case, a man was found dead in his house in the city of navolato, sinaloa, the authorities attended a call saying that there was a dead man inside a house, when the police arrived to the address, they found the dead body of a 38 year old man and several .45 spent cartdriges lying on the floor, also, his hands were cut off and a message written on a piece of paper left on the floor saying that:"THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO ALL THE RATS, AND THERE ARE MORE LEFT...I'M GONNA TEAR YOU GUYS APART" (it is believed that a vigilante group is responsible for the recent wave of killings in sinaloa, in the past, carthieves had been found with messages written on paper warning other thieves that their end is near, in almost all the cases, the authorities found 5.7x28 spent cartridges on the crime scene)
