Back in the 1980s, South Africa figured prominently on the West’s radar screen. Protests against apartheid were everywhere; the movement even inspired a song: “Sun City.” With the fall of the apartheid regime in 1994, however, people lost interest in the faraway land.
But with the murder of Eugene Terreblanche, leader of the neo-Nazi Afrikaner Resistance Movement (AWB), South Africa is, albeit briefly, back in the news. What the media isn’t reporting, though, is that the killing of Terreblanche has little to do with his unpalatable political views, but is part of a wider pattern of targeting whites — virtually none of whom are supremacists. In fact, thousands of white farmers have already been murdered.
While racial strife in South Africa isn’t surprising, the current level of violence is no accident, but the work of a demagogue. His name is Julius Malema.
Leader of the ruling African National Congress’ (ANC’s) Youth Movement, Malema is a black supremacist who aims to follow in the footsteps of Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe, who has long been persecuting white farmers in his nation. David Smith at The Guardian reports on the story, presenting a glimpse of a dystopian South African future:
The year is 2019. President Julius Malema thumps his fist on the lectern and roars: "South Africa shall never be a colony again!" He whips up the crowd into a patriotic frenzy with chants about the hated Boers. He promises: "We will drive the white man from the land, we will drive him from the mines, we will drive him from the boardrooms. Africa for the Africans."
This is the nightmare future that haunts many South Africans, black and white. They regard Malema as a clown, a loudmouth and a bully. But they increasingly fear that he really could follow Nelson Mandela in going from the African National Congress youth league to president of the republic.
Unfortunately, Malema Version 2010 is no better. He has continued to agitate the masses by singing a song containing the words “kill the Boer” (“Boer” is a Dutch word meaning “farmer,” but it has become a derogatory term for any white South African), even after the nation’s courts ruled it hate speech and the ANC, finally, asked its members to stop singing it.
As for the ANC government, its response has been an attempt to cover the problem up. It no longer records the races of those who commit murder and their victims, as this had shown that the latter group included a percentage of white South Africans disproportionate enough to attract the attention of GenocideWatch.org. The media also is complicit in the cover-up, as black-on-white crime is just too politically incorrect to touch. Yet there’s no fooling those on the ground. As Pamela Geller at American Thinker writes:
Whites in South Africa are keenly aware of the plans to kill them. They expect mass killings to begin very soon after the death of Mandela, but to tell this to the world is a waste of energy. More than three thousand white farmers have already been murdered, and Genocide Watch lists the Boer farmers in South Africa as victims of genocide — but the media couldn't care less. Malema has praised Zimbabwe's murderous seizure of white-owned farms as "courageous and militant." White South Africans know what's coming.
And if it comes, the media — which seem to have forgotten one of their favorite terms, “hate crime” — will have blood on their hands. As Geller also points out, “The mainstream media portrays all white South Africans as racist monsters like Eugene Terreblanche. This is simply not true. And remember: A key step on the road to genocide is to dehumanize the intended victims.”
Yet, should Malema’s dark vision become reality, whites won’t be the only victims. When racial hatred drove Mugabe to seize farms from whites — the only ones with experience running them — the unsurprising result was starvation, as Zimbabwe was transformed from breadbasket to economic basket case. And if Malema replicates Daddy Mugabe’s deadly mix of bigotry and neo-bolshevism, South Africa will descend into the same morass. Food may be scarce and foreign investment even more so. It’s what’s known as “Cutting off your nose to spite your face.”
This isn’t lost on educated black South Africans, one of whom David Smith quotes as saying, "Malema for president? Never. I will personally kill him before that happens."
That’s certainly easier said than done. What may be more likely, sadly, is that Malema will kill his nation.

Genocide in South Africa
By Pamela Geller
The genocide of white South Africans is heating up.
Last week, South Africa's ruling African National Congress (ANC) finally told its members to stop singing the song "Kill the Boer" -- that is, murder white South Africans. ("Boer" is Afrikaans for "farmer," but colloquially, it is a disparaging term for any white South African.) This came after ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema defied a court ruling and kept singing the song (he still refuses to stop), and after Eugene Terreblanche, leader of the noxious and hateful neo-Nazi Afrikaner Resistance Movement (AWB), was found savagely bludgeoned to death at his farm in South Africa's North West province.
The international media focused on Terreblanche's white supremacism, showing his followers giving the Nazi salute at his funeral. No account of his murder or funeral spoke about Malema, "Kill the Boer," or black supremacism -- yet that is the really important story in South Africa today.
Whites in South Africa are keenly aware of the plans to kill them. They expect mass killings to begin very soon after the death of Mandela, but to tell this to the world is a waste of energy. More than three thousand white farmers have already been murdered, and Genocide Watch lists the Boer farmers in South Africa as victims of genocide -- but the media couldn't care less. Malema has praised Zimbabwe's murderous seizure of white-owned farms as "courageous and militant." White South Africans know what's coming.
Malema keeps singing the apartheid-era song "Kill the Boer" even though South Africa's highest court ruled that the song was hate speech (a decision the ANC is appealing, although they've asked their followers to stop singing it in the meantime; they've emphasized that they have not banned the song).
Under ANC rule, the government has stopped reporting the race of murder victims and the race of the murderer. This is because the international community (mainly GenocideWatch.org) was starting to notice the disproportionate number of whites being murdered in South Africa. The ANC stopped reporting the race of the victims of murder so there would be no way to track the number of black-on-white murders. Problem solved.
A Jewish journalist in Johannesburg wrote me last week to shed light on the Malema situation and on the chaos and deteriorating conditions in that country. About Malema, he lamented, "Why isn't anyone standing up to this moron, not even the president?" He noted another South African journalist's observation: "The problem surrounding Malema is that he is basically a 'dumb orator with popular support.' Like Hitler."
Another AtlasShrugs.com reader in South Africa wrote this to me:
Have you searched facebook "Julius Malema" I see they have closed down his account, but a new one has already opened with over 2000 fans already.
The remarks there were really horrible.
They have threatened to "Rape all the white whore bitches and burn all their children"
... makes me sleep with one eye open.
The American media says little or nothing about the genocide in South Africa because it's black against white, so it's politically incorrect to notice. The mainstream media portrays all white South Africans as racist monsters like Eugene Terreblanche. This is simply not true. And remember: A key step on the road to genocide is to dehumanize the intended victims.
What is happening in South Africa against the white population is a crime against humanity. Savage. And no one will speak of it. The leftist media (all big media) and the international community (notoriously left-leaning) ignores it entirely. Their silence is affirmation; it sanctions the evil. Most decent people are perplexed by the uneven humanity and inhumanity of our leftist moral "superiors." I am not. They unremittingly vilify the Jewish people and Israel, the most benevolent government and army in the Middle East, but pay scant attention to jihad and the Islamic culture of honor killings, clitorectomies, child slavery, forced marriage, child marriage, etc. Why?
Because the leftists are bigots and racists, that's why. Because as morally superior as they think they are, they have no regard for their own side's perpetrators of violence, like the black South Africans. Their subliminal message is clear: "They're animals, whaddaya expect?" That is their prejudice. It's the soft bigotry of low expectations.
The genocide of white South Africans? Yawn. "Whaddaya expect?"

We face an organised Rwanda-style genocide
Thursday, October 1, 2009 - 11:31
Dan Roodt wrote a brilliant article that one can only say has been in the minds of a lot of people lately. His most excellent commentary and forecast of where South Africa is going upsets many but this is the true South Africa we face today.
Article follows:
I attended the gathering at the Vegkop battlefield site for about two hours and plead guilty to warning the people there that SA is getting so unstable that organised genocide on the scale of Rwanda is a possibility not to be discounted too lightly.
The discussion around genocide over the past few weeks in Afrikaans was set off, not by a “right-wing bigot” as you continue in your tribal Johannesburg-English way to stereotype Afrikaners, but by the left-wing, ANC- supporting theologian Nico Smith.
On September 11 he wrote an article in Beeld, Pas aan of pas op (Adapt or beware), in which he forecast that Afrikaners insisting on language rights and complaining about affirmative action will end up like the French Algerians who were given the choice of “the suitcase or the coffin” by the National Liberation Front in the early sixties.
No one can deny the wall of hate from the state directed against Afrikaner farmers, teachers, schools, universities, museums, monuments and so on. Huge amounts of taxpayer rands are being spent on court cases and other actions to eradicate Afrikaans from educational institutions and to remove Afrikaner farmers from the land they have farmed for generations.
The nature of injuries sustained in military-style attacks on farms and suburban houses are not of a civil or even criminal nature.
At a recent medical conference on trauma surgery held in the US, a high- ranking officer from the US army called the South African delegate aside and told her: “Judging from the type of injuries you have shown us, I am afraid there is a war in your country. Such injuries do not occur in peacetime.”
I am sorry to disturb you in your liberal dreamworld where you are “cremating deceased livestock and sucking on a beer”, but this country is already engaged in a low-intensity ethnic conflict that may well escalate into dominee Smith’s vision of a white genocide.
The umKhonto weSizwe and Apla- controlled SANDF, of which we have recently seen the levels of discipline, has about 500000 automatic weapons at its disposal.
Likewise, the SABC is the perfect weapon to exhort the majority population to drive the hated white racists or “bigots” into the sea.
The tide of history, as is amply demonstrated by Algeria, the former Portuguese colonies and, of course, Zimbabwe, is against the continued presence of whites in Africa. We are all living under the sword of Damocles.

White Genocide in South Africa continues - Kill the boer, kill the farmer shouted outside school, Pretoria name to change
Thursday, January 28, 2010 - 13:05
Pretoria, South Africa - The genocide against white Afrikaans speaking people in South Africa is continuing. Over the past few days a number of people were brutally murdered, some even had nothing stolen as black armed gangs target white people in South Africa.
First of all the ANC wants to change the name of Pretoria to Tswane, Pretoria is one of the last renaming Afrikaans cities in the world and that is too much for the ANC to handle. The name Pretoria they say must change to Tswane.
Then there is the case where people from the "young communist league" shouted "kill the boer, kill the farmer" outside Free State Voortrekker Afrikaans High School. This blatant racism continues in South Africa under the guise of "transformation".
The biggest hate speech is coming directly from the ANC, namely Julius Malema the ANC youth league leader that almost daily rants out against the minority white people of South Africa.
According to AllAfrica Julius Malema also recently blabbered the following:
"They do not participate in anything that is of national importance, they do not observe national days, they do not support national initiatives,"
"... they do not care about the development of this country, they are forever obsessed with whether they are going to be attacked or robbed."
So he thinks all white people care about is if they are going to be attacked or robbed, mostly elderly people are tortured to death with hot irons, people are strangled with their own telephone cords and there is a total onslaught against Afrikaans culture and the Afrikaans people of South Africa.
Maybe Julius Malema should starting thinking why white people while being disarmed with new gun laws are afraid of being attacked. That is probably because they are under threat constantly as South Africa slides into the next Zimbabwe.
We ask again Is there a silent Genocide in South Africa?
It appears so

Kill the Farmer, Kill the Boer,’ chanted the black protestors from the Young Communist League, who were gathered at the gates of the Bethlehem, Free State Voortrekker Afrikaans High School on January 28 2010, while ‘handing over a petition’ against the presence of the region’s only remaining Afrikaans-language high school. The chairman of the school’s management committee, Dr Henk Basson, said he was deeply concerned about the hate-speech and the calls for murdering all the whites at the school, and had thus sent the children home early becauses of these threats. “Our school is being turned into a political playing-ball for certain groups’ secret agendas, despite Pres Zuma’s recent plea for quality-education and despite his warnings against politically-motivated protests at schools,’ he said.
Update:
28 January 2010 the principal of Free State Voortrekker Afrikaans High School had to send his pupils home because protesters outside the school became increasingly threatening. Dr. Henk Basson the chairman fo the schools management committee said that he was deeply concerned about the hate speech and the calls for murder of all the whites at the school he decided that it would be best to send all the students home.
The Young Communist League gathered at the gate of the Free State Voortrekker Afrikaans High School to hand over a petition against the school for being the last Afrikaans high school left in that region. Dr. Henk Basson also said that despite the calls from Zuma to stop politically motivated protest at schools their school is still being turned into a political playing-ball:
Our school is being turned into a political playing-ball for certain groups’ secret agendas, despite Pres Zuma’s recent plea for quality-education and despite his warnings against politically-motivated protests at schools,
Protest are a common occurrence in South Africa but this is not a normal protest. This sounds more like 'ethnic cleansing'. These young black people where chanting outside a school that everyone inside the school should be killed because they are Afrikaans speaking. Chanting things like 'Kill the Boer Kill the Farmer' this should not be taken lightly. This on the heals of Julius Malema's speech that Afrikaners are racist and should be taught a lesson.
When four whites students made a video joking about black people the whole world heard about it. But then again it is not 'politically correct' to call black people racist no matter what their actions show.

Police minister Nathi Mthethwa says again that farm murders are not political
Friday, April 23, 2010 - 16:30
Cape Town, South Africa - Farm murders continue in South Africa and the Police minister Nathi Mthethwa insists that it is only crime and not political without giving any evidence.
First of all many white South Africans suffer war crimes under the ANC government, about 400 white people yearly, especially men are targets of police, they get locked up especially over weekends and then they are raped by other inmates, mostly black inmates to "teach them a lesson". White people are constantly abused and assaulted by police and trust for the police is at a extreme low, no one trusts the police.
Today Nathi Mthethwa said that "We have dismissed these criminal activities as racial or political." when he was speaking about farm attacks.
" The time has come
to take the war
to the White areas"
- ANC Manifesto
The fact is you cant just dismiss something people are blaming on government without evidence, especially if you are part of that government being blamed. After all Julius Malema and the Nathi Mthethwa are part of that same political party which calls for "Kill the boers". Sure Julius Malema is being set in order but not for singing the song but for being arrogant against the ANC's instructions.
We've heard countless times at rallies about killing the whites, about shooting the boers about how white people are to blame for bad service delivery, the list goes on.
" I have beaten the Colonials
- and I am going to
beat the children
of the children
of the Colonials"
- Julius Malema
So can anyone believe what the police minister is saying about farm murders not being political? What about when they take the blood of the victims and write "kill the boer" on the walls of their victims houses after murdering them?
What about when they shout "Viva Julius Malema, kill the boer" (in their language) when attacking farms and homes like they did with the Commando member?
Now without addressing the real issues of farm murders the police minister said that "We are faced with crime and we are doing all in our power to deal with crime..... we really discourage this racial tone on issues of crime because not going to help anybody. "
He then continued to say blaming farm attacks on racial issues would "feed polarisation".
Here's further evidence that farm attacks are racial:
