@Americanalltheway A buffer can slow the rate of fire which is essential. I would rather have 3-shot burst than full auto.

@Americanalltheway - I AGREE 110% with your statement , Navy Seals use single shot placement. When I practice "and I do often" I practice double tap. I just thought this was informative.

@Kmanbay no it's not. after setting your jig up and carefully drilling the auto sear pin hole in the lower reciever, THEN you can install the full auto trigger group and hope everything is functioning perfectly the first time and no adjustments are needed. i've never seen it done anywhere near 10 minutes.

To be clear, don't you need to find a dealer with a Class III FFL, make an application to the BATF and the local Chief LEO and pay a $200 tax stamp to own one of these right? Same process if you bought an old WW2 fully automatic firearm like a MG42 or a Thompson?

A floating bump-fire stock is a good alternative. Cheap and legal.
