Yeah that's true of course. Luck was involved because what if behind that truck there had been another truck into which he would have plowed after narrowly avoiding the first? In this vid we see he actually does almost get hit a second time by a straggling car behind the truck. THAT is luck. The driving decisions were skilled, the outcome was influenced in part by luck. That's my take
