AFD 2006 Redux
This item updates item 'AFD 2006 Redux'

Re-sampled video into MPEG4, hopefully better quality.
Forces Day, 2006 at Camp Borden, Ontario Canada. Some footage of my visit to the army base where they set up a bunch of modern and older weapons of war for large and small kids to play with, demonstrations and air show as well but on other footage I'll eventually upload. A Visit to the tank park on the base included. Enjoy.

The "AK Sniper rifle" looks like a Dragunov.

    • The sniper rifle is a Dragunov, I couldn't remember the name when I threw in the text. I guess the grunge is too ancient for you. Nirvana shitty? Kurt was way ahead of his time. I'm actually a late 70's progressive rock fan but I didn't have anything at hand in MP3 to put on as a sound track.

  • Nice vid Pete I grew up at CFB Borden. Sure brings back some great childhood memories. I remember playing on all those tanks at Worthington Park.
    Looking forward to more VIDS.

    • I lived there from 1976 to 1980,my high school years. The south side PMQ houses of the base are all long gone, demolished. The old high school, BBCI, is a training school. Seems desolate now, no kids like back in the late 70's. I go every couple of years to the AFD day they have in late June.
