Iran isn't exactly the bastion for gay rights. If you remember correctly it was the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that proclaimed that were no gays in Iran. Well now Iran has banned two Persepolis soccer players because of a grabby soccer celebration.








Persepolis scored a big goal in their game against Dmash Gilan. The team piled on each other in jubilation. However defender Mohammed Nosrati seemed to be a little too happy and squeezed teammate Sheis Rezaei's bottom. The free prostate exam was seen by millions on television and not received well by Iran.



The two men "have been banned indefinitely from all football activities for committing immoral acts",declared Ismail Hasanzadeh, the head of the Iranian football federation's disciplinary committee. The players have been been suspended by Persepolis and fined nearly $40,000 each.



Judging by Rezaei's abrupt and quick movement away from the magical abra-ca-grab-ass trick it appears he was definitely not a willing participant in this situation. So it really seems that his literal pain in the ass is figuratively going to be a real pain in the ass.
