The measure of damages for the Korean couple is likely limited to reasonable attorney's fees, court costs, and expenses. If based on contract law, they should be able to recover nearly all this.

If based on tort law, they are probably SOL, but I bet the case was based on contracts to begin with. Guarantee their attorney took the case pro bono knowing the expsoure he More..

  • If the Korean couple have a son they should send him to school with this guy's kids and let nature take it's course.

  • Bloke should never be allowed to work in any capacity in the justice system again. This is an utter disgrace.

  • Extreme behavior like this on the Judge's part is going to be a huge red flag when it comes to being re-appointed to any bench. His career is over and with good reason...this guy just isn't right in the head and no one is going to trust him as a Judge. I hope someone trips on his driveway and sues him for $54m.

What are you a lawyer or something? If so, I'd like to sue chris k for his avatar messing up my head. (It's messed up enough)

  • If there *is* anything wrong with America it's that this suit ever made it into a court. This bozo would have been laughed out of court on day one 50 years ago. What a tool.

  • I hope that ass gets disbarred. How do complete shitheads get to be judges, anyway? Probably a political appointee.
