*INTENSE* Recon Marines Use Fire and Maneuver to Repel Enemy Ambush 
Part of channel(s): Afghanistan (current event)This is some of the more "intense" footage from a 3 hour long patrol in Upper Sangin Valley. The video begins just after Alpha Element is engaged in what turns out to be a small preliminary ambush.
A word about tactics:
The overwhelming majority of casualties in this area were from IED's. These were usually located in channelized areas between buildings and walls (where there was cover from gunfire). We stuck to open fields because it was easier to repel enemy fighters and treat gunshot wounds than it was to find IED's and treat blown off limbs.
*Side note: Names are muted for privacy, and aftermath footage was left out as a courtesy to both the viewers and the fallen (no Marine casualties).

@papasteak While I admire the Battlefield franchise and still play 1942 and BF2, I feel they cheated us on BF3.. I have extremely high hopes for Arma3, and if they get the audio right LIKE Bf2-3 it should be epic.

That was some serious shit there, good movement and tactics. Good to see that most of the Marines stayed off the walls, bullets love to follow walls, bet the average heart rate during this engagement was 170. Good job Marines, thanks for your service for an old Army Cavalry Scout.
