@mr_gunaseelan They did not need to assault anyone, the use of OC was deployed upon the protesters refusal to comply to a lawful order. They were warned beforehand that if they fail to comply to the lawful order, they would be pepper sprayed. Their own fault they stayed.

@TankHunter The many videos of them being warned to move. The campus police that tried to move them with minor force ( pulling them apart ect) When that occured they simply grabbed each other making a human chain refusing to move.
After that they warned the line of 10-15 protesters that if they continued to refuse to move off the sidewalk they would be sprayed.
they made their choice, more of what you don't see if the officers cleaning the eyes of the ones who did move after being sprayed. Ho More..
