  • 1. this isn't some cop show.. Police don't have to read you your rights until they plan on start questioning you. And ONLY if you no longer free to leave. Them not reading him his rights, right there as he's on the ground means nothing.

    2. He's already in cuffs by the time I see him. Kind of hard to pass judgement on what went down, when you can't see it.

    3. I think there's a bit more that just fb posts.

    • @gammyland I agree. The first amendment guarantees free speech against the government. It doesn't protect public threats of violence though, which may or may not have been the case. I highly doubt they arrested him for innocent Facebook posts.

    • @Airedale I highly doubt it. I've never read Miranda to someone when they were still laying on the ground. Happens back at the station, or while they are in the back of my car where I would question them. And it's wouldn't be right there where all his friends where. Willing to bet he had them read to him at the station.

  • firstly we didnt see the whole sequence of the arrest
    secondly no specific description of what he actually said about the goverment
    and third that love poster behind you makes me a bit skeptical
