Raw Video: Tour Bus Fire Near Hoover Dam
A tour bus that caught fire near the Hoover Dam closed both lanes of U.S. Highway 93 for several hours Monday.
The Sky Dragon bus caught fire in the northbound lanes at Nevada mile marker one, near the bypass bridge, about 4 p.m., trooper Loy Hixon said. All 61 passengers and the driver escaped injury. It wasn't clear what caused the fire. A spokesperson for the Sky Dragon Tour Corporation, based in California, couldn't be reached for comment.

I don't think buses are allowed to travel across Hoover Dam but they can come close, which means the bus must traverse back up the steep incline they decedent-ed into which may have over-heated the engine and transmission. I know, have been there many times.
