Hi Guys,
We're trying an earlier time slot for the "show" this week and tonight I want to talk about the mainstream media. Are we subjected to news as a distraction from genuine issues? Is the mainstream media a manipulative device for those in power or simply a product tailored to our own bias? Let me know what you think. Although this is the topic for tonight we can still talk about pretty much anything you'd like as well.
As for the hosted chats, think of them as a talk radio show where you can interact with every other "listener". The rules are pretty simple and we'll be repeating them as we go. All you have to do is log into LL, click on the chat link and once you're in chat head to the Hosted Chat room. Simple!

Define 'News', these days it's spin only, you rarely ever get nonobjective unbiased 'reporting', instead it's oppinion and finger pointing. One of the reasons I no longer prescribe to broadcast TV, the other is price, you pay to have some talking head fill your mind with drivel......sounds pretty dumb doesn't it?
