I remember an ad for a cigarette, I think it was Kent, Newport or Kool, anyway the ad was a guy in a canoe and his cigarette was bent at the tip. Always wondered what that was about.

@hhhhhaaaaa Im old and remember commercials where they used "doctors" to promote cigarettes.
The tv and movie industry also pushed them into the public.
They were also very cheap and not taxed like they are today. I remember buying them for my father in the very early 60's. .17 cents a pack or 2 for .25. People such as Dean Martin would smoke on his show while drinking Scotch. ha ha

Amazing that the government, FDA and most everyone knows that smoking is bad. Yet, nobody makes cigarettes illegal.
The government just raises taxes. They don't care about your health, they care about the money.
In my area, cigarette sales are so low now, they already raised taxes on boozes as much as $5.00 a bottle to make up the loss. I love it. The greed gets transfered to another sin. Let's see how well the drinkers like it.

Damn Im terrible with names anymore.
The 3rd one down, the guy on the sidewalk became a very famous actor and still is. Plays a cop or detective many times.
The 4th one down, the guy with the jackhammer is still a an actor who plays many Latino or gangster type parts. The guy who gave him the cigarette is also an actor. Usually plays a goofy part.
The guy in #3 is going to drive me crazy.
