Rob Lowe was to play the part of Harry Dunne.
The directors originally wanted Nicolas Cage and Gary Oldman to play Lloyd and Harry, good thing that didn't work out.
Then they wanted Martin Short or Steve Martin to play Lloyd and Chris Elliot to play Harry.
I learned all that earlier today trying to figure this out.
