Police need your help catching a clever crook in Ardmore.
A man accused of robbing a gas station also forcibly removed the car wash control terminal from a gas station in the 2500 block of South Broadway.
The terminal he stole was loaded with cash.
Nearly $20,000 in damage was done.
According to police, the man wrapped a cable or rope around the device and pulled it to the ground with his pickup. He then loaded it up and drove away.
The white man is believed to be between 30 and 40 years old. He's described as having a medium build with dark hair.
"The thing that really caught our eye about it, is hes just so brazen," said Robin Beal with Ardmore Police.
"He's recorded on numerous cameras actually preparing to commit the crime and then actually committing the crime and driving off.
Before he actually hooked up to the machine he went into the store, sauntered around, purchased a beverage and some snacks as if he were just an average everyday customer."

I used to be a vendor a long time ago.
People will tear the hell out of anything no matter how hard it is to do so just to get a few quarters.
Costs so much to repair.
His license plate is blurred too much but that truck is very easy to identify with the tool box and hose on top of it.

Sober up and lay down the meth/crack pipe.
Steal or borrow that truck. Get someone to hook up the chain and lift the unit into the truck.
He would have a good defense if arrested on this, cause everyone knows he is a drugged out, drunk, lazy ass piece of shit. But he was a thief.

There was probably only chump change in the till if any.
Why would he do this? Anger against management perhaps? His was broken and he needed cheap parts?

There was probably $2000-3000 in bills in that machine. they only get dumped like every three weeks or so most of the time. and if it was a busy wash more.

Ardmore? Ardmore, Oklahoma? Wow, that's a small town, my folks grew up about 20 miles from Ardmore, out in the sticks. I would never have thought I would ever see a video from Ardmore on LiveLeak.

Okay, here's the thing. If this machine was "loaded with cash," presumably it's in coinage. The way that guy is handling the machine as he loads it, I'm thinking there's not THAT much cash in it. If there was, it would be a lot heavier.
