A North Attleboro, Massachusetts man allegedly taunted and repeatedly raped a young girl several years ago, a plan police say he orchestrated with the girl's relative.
Warren Prescott, 47, of 115 Mount Hope St., allegedly raped the now-17-year-old girl on at least three occasions when she was 11, according to a report in the Providence Journal.
According to an affidavit filed by police, the girl's relative, John E. Rainey, 52, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island would pick her up at her house and bring her to an apartment on Clark Avenue in Pawtucket, where Prescott was allegedly waiting.
Rainey would then leave and Prescott would rape the girl, laughing at her and telling her "You don't mean anything," according to the affidavit.
The girl first reported the alleged abuse to her school guidance counselor in May and the matter was turned over to Pawtucket authorities, who, after what was described as a complex investigation, arrested both Rainey and Prescott this week.It was not clear what the two men allegedly exchanging for the girl, and the investigation reportedly remains on-going with more charges possible.
Prescott was ordered held without bail on three counts of first-degree child molestation and three counts of conspiracy, while Rainey was charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit child molestation.
His bail status was not clear Sunday night.
