no wonder i missed this, looks like a trash movie
better try some of Akira Kurosawa movies like Yojimbo, The Hidden Fortress, Rashomon or Sanjuro.
other good samurai movies are Kill! Kiru, Musashi Trilogy(very good), Shinsengumi, Sword of Doom or Samurai Rebellion

I loved this film it was one of the first films i seen when we got our first video recorder in the 80s think it was called shogun assassin in the u.k though gonna have to get it on dvd
