LL Movie Challenge - Saving Private Ryan - 1998
Another classic scene from Saving Private Ryan - another of my favourite movies...
"Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teaches my hands to the war, and my fingers to fight. My
goodness and my fortress, my high tower and my Deliverer. My shield, and he in whom I trust"
I've lost count how many times I've watched this!

Barry Pepper and his family used to live on our subdivision just up the hill from me.
They left town to travel, and after that Barry got into acting.

@r00ted Well .. back in those days and no im not that old ... ( Im a Vet from the 90s ) There was no such thing as a left handed weapon. A sports rifle was handed to the guy that displayed the best abilty at the range. There were NO SNIPER RIFLES as today. But even today the left handed rifle isnt really left handed. For example ... the M16 will have deflector for the casings if you happen to be left handed so the HOT casing dosnt hot u in the face. As for sniper rifles today. Its up to the pre More..

i seen on discovery that the sniper scene never happened in that situation, i think it was a russian or a pole who made the shot in a different war....

I agree, dying while protecting worthless pieces of shit such as yourself is such a waste.

@tfou "War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
John Stuart Mill (1806 - 1873)
