I use a laptop because they chew up bugger all power, and my ISP bill is only $80 a month (I'm an internet junkie and it doubles as my T.V, free to air T.V. is crap). I use touch lamps set to low and put them near whatever it is I'm doing. Not using a light when you leave the room ?..TURN IT OFF !..And I eat like a KING !...Oh yeah, CUT THE FUCKING CREDIT CARD IN HALF !...Anything else ?

    It's all about buying what you really need.
    Congrats to the mum here. But if everybody did what she does, there would be no more coupons.
    The coupon people 'estimate' only 5% will use it. The supermarket 'cashes in' them back.

  • I was stuck behind someone using coupons in a supermarket a while back and let me tell you it wasnt fun especially when all I had was a couple of bottles of water. A handful of coupons and the lady tried using the coupon on different size and wrong items. They had to go back and forth getting the right price.

  • The amount of time she spends on finding those coupons is like a full time job. Time is money. If thinks she's getting this for free ... in fact it is not.

    And from what it looks, not sure if her family eats healthy. Most of the shit she has there is processed and poor on nutrients. Eventually she will end up with medical bills.

    IMO earning money and buying proper food is more healthy and economic in the long run.
