  • Why is it on every combat video on this site all the kiddies expect to see a dirt dobber standing up in an open field 50 feet away firing from the hip at soldiers? Do you honestly expect to see a AT4 rocket hit some fuckbar in the stomach and explode him to pieces?

Every single one of you is a victim of Hollywood movie magic and the birth children of games such as CoD and Battlefield. You all have an extremely warped view of what combat entails. You scream and cry about the shooting of trees an More..

    • @Wa1martyr well said, reality doesn't sell movies and games

You and the guys upvoting you just made their trolling attempt an epic moment, because you fell so utterly for it.

And still it has some reality to it, because the US wastes so much money, even in times of crisis, spending more money to make even more enemies, just hitting those trees and rocks and so many civilians and even own citizens with expensive Hellfires, its hilarious.
Its like reading a history book about stupidity, only seeing it live in real life!

  • No yelling and screaming after the shot? What kind of military is this anyway?

  • Nice to see a weapon designed for use against Soviet Armour used so effectively against......a rocky hillside.

It is intended to give infantry units a means to destroy or disable armored vehicles and fortifications, although it is not generally sufficient to defeat a modern main battle tank (MBT).

It was the Soviets favorite rocky hillside...so there. :)

Considering all the people standing around in the open, it looks more like a range than a combat zone. I'd say they were qualifying/re-qualifying on the weapon.

    • @PhoneBill Definitely a range...but you don't qualify on at-4's I don't think. Would be way too expensive.

You're right, I don't think they'd use a regular AT4, very expensive. It probably uses training rounds with the same AT4 housing, at least that's what I did for the M72 LAW.

  • I actually think the RPG is a superior weapon in some ways.
    1. Way Cheaper
    2. Lighter
    3. Reusable
    4. Easier to Carry
    5. Battle Proven

you're right and RPG come with different warhead for different job.

    • @Lllarrry I don't think your statistic is right. If you mean 36 women and childer per 1 U.S soldier, than it would make a little more sense.

    • @Ducatisti Perhaps so... but, AT4 or RPG, doesn't matter. Who really wants to be on the receiving end when either is fired?

  • people still think they can see the rocket flying and dodge it like in the movies...

  • People saying he's wasting tax dollars are stupid! Do you know how to shoot an AT-4 without training with it first? If you do, you should be over there instead of these guys!

  • Needed a target so we know how good he was..... Still, it was probably more to do with familiarization than accuracy at that time.

  • you guys are always complaining about how your tax money is wasted on military stuff etc... Atleast they're doing something with the money.

Here in brazil we have 200% of tax over any product, if we buy a gun we pay a price that normaly would buy 3 of them, we have the highest tax in the WORLD And it's all spent on parties with coke and hookers by politicians, meanwhile there's alot of violence on the streets and starving children, LOLZ!

If you think its any different in the US or other western country, youre pretty naive.
They are just hiding it better than your country.

    • @coolhund

I know there's corruption pretty much everywhere.. but let's face it, they're hidding it better because something is being done correctly, here, we all know that we have corrupt politicians not only because of the many cases of corruption leaked to the public, but because we pay way TOO much taxes and we still have shitty hospitals and schools, lulz!

Look at Germany for example. All in all we also pay close to your 200% taxes. First we get deducted 30-50% of our earnings, then we have to pay lots of other additional crap that is mandatory, like a forced TV fee, hundreds of different taxes plus a general tax on anything we buy (even worse on energy and fuel) and then our remaining living costs (car, rental, food) are extremely high aswell. Hell, we even have to pay a large percentage of inheritance we get to the government. Quite a b More..
